Enrolled in full-time Art Direction studies, mother to seven children, and representing Georgia's Girls Pint Out in East Atlanta (and I thought I was busy), she's also the proud co-owner of Them Two Birds along with her husband Aaron.
This Woman's crazy big heart, courageous spirit, and kickass work ethic is an inspiration to dream bigger, work harder, and love more--and I know I'm not alone in thinking so.
Meet Victoria Coombs: a lady who loves beer!
"I was born and raised in Woodstock GA. My husband, Aaron, and I recently moved to downtown Atlanta and we love it. Although Georgia will always be home, I do not believe it will be my forever home. I would like to live all over the world once our children are grown."
When you're not drinking beer you're... (What do you enjoy doing in your spare time--walking dogs, swimming oceans, juicing greens, etc.?)
"Wrangling our seven children, attending The Creative Circus in the Art Director program, and building our empire, Them Two Birds. Okay... maybe TTB is not an empire, but it is the small business Aaron and I started two years ago building interior barn doors and rustic style furniture."Tell us about your involvement in Georgia craft beer (Girls Pint Out, etc.). Do you have a big picture in mind (i.e. career or goal objectives), or is it just for fun?
"I am the East Atlanta representative for Georgia Girls Pint Out. I'm in advertising school right now, which ties into my long term goal to work alongside breweries shaping their branding and artwork."Future goals/plans/dreams (either beer related, or not)?
"Grow Them Two Birds, work in advertising, and use both to be a part of the local craft beer community."Favorite/usual spots to grab a beer in Atlanta (or around Georgia)?
"There are so many, it's hard to choose. Since I have to though... The Porter, Taco Mac Midtown, Argosy, and Midway Pub."New brew loves? Old favorites?
"I just had Six Points 3 Beans Porter the other night, and it's definitely a new obsession. Although, Reformation Brewery's seasonal Coffee Stout and Old Chub Nitro are beers I could drink any day of the week!"If you could have one beer with anyone you like, anywhere in the world (past or present) who/where would it be, and why?
"However sappy it sounds, the honest answer is my husband. He is the one who taught me about craft beer and I love the conversations we get to have about and around a great brew."
